So recently I participated in my group, BLK's photoshoot. We used the same lighting as the previous shoot which was fun ^_^ I decided to abuse these photo shoots and do something different each time ^_^ Last time I was posing quite fierce(?) Feeling the Love

Philippines Culture Shock

Hi Everyone!

I must admit, every time I go to the Philippines (which isn't that often haha) I still get culture shock. Its not like my own culture shocks me (well sometimes it does... ^_^) but its more of what I still have yet to still understand. Sure I can speak Filipino (Tagalog) and whatnot, but that doesn't make me Filipino by nature. Being born and raised in Australia - my nature is Australian, I grew up in the ways of society here in Australia. So to see what most Filipinos are like intrigues me :D And no, I'm not ogling every Filipino I come across like I'm in a zoo - there are too many of them and only one me so yeahhhh...

I had to give this particular pub a special mention because the place was decorated so beautifully! A group of us bunched together and visited this pub to pass time in between the wedding ceremony and the reception. We had a good 3-4 hours to kill, so why not drink a little and get merry? During good conversation, I enjoyed a chilled apple cider while taking heaps of pictures of the intricate decorations the venue displayed.

I am a massive fan of vintage furniture, but what strikes out to me more is when I visit a venue that has mixed modern with vintage. It screams to me to be photographed and shared!

The pub had 4 main areas to sit and lounge around in:
- vintage bar parlour
- your typical bar setting (wooden bar with stools)
- the vintage meets modern garden area outside (which we stayed in because of the beautiful weather)
- 2 small dining areas - divided by a window ^_^

Here are some snap shots from the venue. Its definitely worth going to if you're looking for a place for some photography done or just to appreciate ther creativeness of the place. If I were to stop by Adelaide, I would definitely go back and have a camera-whoring session there, with whoever is in Adelaide with me!

If you can see closely, each of these are different types of wine glasses. They are also each individually hung up by string to the white frame hung on the ceiling :D It was very aesthetically pleasing to the eye ^_^

Bloggers have a Social Life Too!

(This is what happens when you leave your phone alone for 5minutes! Haha your friends camera-whore on it!)

Just going to do a quick post about my meet up with a couple of my favorite bloggers :D I met most of them through Twitter and the others are actually my closest girlfriends haha. We thought it would be a lovely idea to be able to come together, get to know each other more and enjoy some good food! Thus a date and a venue was chosen!

Because it was on the weekend and it was busy, we had to change the venue but never the less, the food was nice!

It was great seeing Ling again, and finally meeting Shizuka in person! Yay! (That hot chocolate still awaits haha). Many little random antics happened during dinner too, we had imaginary plates being 'thrown' in each others faces, my phone was temporarily stolen for my girlfriends to camera-whore on, whilst I was in a good conversation with Ling, Shizuka and Sarah. Shizuka and I also had the pleasure of being able to nom down on some of Ling and Sarah's wedges; in my opinion we had the *best seats EVERRRR!!*

It was great having my blogger friends meet my girlfriends, because we all blog, so why not? We all have a social life away from blogging too! :D Don't forget that a blogger needs to have a social life to be able to blog about their adventures from time to time. Whether it be an experience in a shopping mall or within the comfort of their own home :D
