Guest Post: Budget Direct "Cost of Living"

Ever wondered what it would be like to live in a different country? Or have you considered getting up and moving for a new life and adventure?

Budget Direct have made the researching way more easier for you! This is also a great tool if you're planning to travel! You'll know how much you need to budget for, when you visit each of the countries/cities available on this website! #hellyestobudgeting #causeiwantmoreforshopping

I couldn't think of better timing when I was approached about this website. Only because the Bunny and I are planning to go to the USA in 2014. So the first thing I would probably check out is how much roughly I get for shopping #superwink

All you have to do is choose 3 cities from those listed, pick a category in which you are interested in and VOILA! It shows you how each city compares in cost of living and other facilities.

Of course wanting to experience the night life while I still can #youthisslowlydisappearing, I looked up the 'Nights Out' Category and saw the above results. Because the structure is purely done in graphs, you may not be able to get an exact indication to how much you would normally spend, but if you were to put your home city in comparison, you can get the general idea :] #smartcookiesforlife

Getting around is uber important since if you are moving to work in these various cities, you need to work out your expenses in comparison to your salary.

I have actually had a lot of fun looking through the different cities and have learnt a lot. For example, I knew New York was hella expensive, and have always thought cost of living in Melbourne was pricey, but definitely not in comparison to New York (T^T) I dunno how Carrie does it in Sex and the City writing a Sex Column! #thatshizcray

I seriously love the fun facts on the left thought. They make me do a couple of things: eyes pop out in surprise, make me say 'Oh yeahhh... that makes sense' and make me laugh as well #dunnowhythough

This website does certainly put the fun in researching various cities around the world (predominantly USA, UK and Australia). Its easy to read, understand and does lessen your curiosity since its straight to the point.

Curious as well? Click on the image above to check it out for yourself! Happy browsing!
